Vitas Jordan is a leading microfinance company with over twenty years of experience in the Jordanian market. Operating under the umbrella of the Central Bank of Jordan, Vitas Jordan is part of the global Vitas Group. The company began offering microfinance services in 1998 through the Southern Jordan Microenterprise Financing Project. It was then registered in 2003 under the name Middle East Micro Credit Company. In 2011, Vitas became part of the Vitas Group, and in 2013, the company transformed into Vitas Jordan. The company aims to provide flexible and supportive financial solutions for the small enterprise sector, with a focus on improving the lives of individuals and businesses through financial products tailored to their specific needs.
General Manager, Vitas Jordan
General Manager, Vitas Jordan Naser Darwish has been the General Manager of Vitas Jordan since January 2003, with an initial task to lead the (formerly MEMCC) management team to a new height of growth and market leadership. Mr. Darwish has more than 30 years of combined experience, consisting of 20 years of solid banking and finance work at global financial institutions, including over 10 years with commercial banks, Standard Chartered, Arab Bank, and as Head of Credit Risk at Jordan Gulf Bank, all of which built up his strong experience in credit management. Mr. Darwish received a BS in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Jordan and has completed numerous trainings in finance and banking. He had also served as a Board Member of Lider in Bosnia, IMMDF in Iraq, and Vitas Romania.
