Mr. Sameh Al-Muhariq holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy, combining practical business expertise with a profound analytical perspective. With over a decade of professional experience in the banking and finance sector, he has held prominent leadership roles, including serving as the General Manager of Al Watani Microfinance Bank and previously as Acting General Manager of the same institution. His diverse experience also includes serving as Risk and Credit Manager at Al Watani Microfinance Bank and as a Banking Consultant at LFS Germany.
Mr. Al-Muhariq has further enriched his career by occupying critical roles at renowned financial institutions, such as Head of the Credit Monitoring Department at Bank Audi and various positions at Arab Bank, including Project Coordinator, Accountant, and Teller.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Al-Muhariq is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Tanmeyah Network, which is dedicated to supporting and developing microfinance institutions. He joined Al Watani Microfinance Bank in October 2009 and has since been instrumental in driving its strategic growth and fostering its commitment to sustainable development.
