Enhancing the Pivotal Role of Women in the Financial and Banking Sector

Nasser Al-Khasawneh by the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, during the conference titled “Enhancing the Pivotal Role of Women in the Financial and Banking Sector”, in appreciation of her distinguished professional journey in public service and her efforts in strengthening integration with the financial and banking sector.

The Network also extends its appreciation and gratitude to the Central Bank of Jordan, represented by His Excellency Governor Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas, and to the Chair of the Women’s Empowerment Committee, Ms. Lama Al-Samhouri, for their continuous efforts in supporting and empowering women in the financial and banking sector, and in expanding opportunities for leadership and influence.

We also value the participation of the General Manager in the panel discussion titled “Enhancing the Pivotal Role of Women in the Financial and Banking Sector”, where she shared her professional experience, highlighting the role of the microfinance sector – Tanmeyah’s members – in empowering women, as well as the challenges affecting women’s economic independence on their financial journey, along with her message to women in light of the challenges they face.
