Tanmeyah Microfinance Network Issues Q3 2025 Report

Tanmeyah Network has released its third-quarter 2025 report, reaffirming its ongoing leadership in supporting the national economy and empowering individuals and communities through enhanced microfinance services, women’s empowerment, job creation, and expanded financial inclusion—especially in governorates outside the capital, Amman.


1. Financial Inclusion and Branch Outreach

The report shows that the number of active microfinance beneficiaries reached 382,262, with 67% residing outside Amman. This reflects Tanmeyah’s success in expanding its services and reaching diverse segments of society.

Tanmeyah members operate 204 branches across all governorates, enabling the effective and inclusive provision of microfinance services.

Through these branches, the network works on:

  • Offering diverse and innovative financial products tailored to the needs of individuals at different stages of their projects.
  • Financing small and medium-sized enterprises to create new job opportunities and drive economic growth.
  • Supporting rural communities with economic opportunities that improve livelihoods.
  • Promoting financial literacy to ensure business sustainability and empower beneficiaries.

2. Women’s Empowerment and Entrepreneurship

The report highlights that 72% of active microfinance beneficiaries are women—more than 289,000 women actively contributing to the national economy.

Tanmeyah implements several initiatives aimed at supporting women-led micro and small enterprises, including:

  • Training programs on starting and developing sustainable businesses.
  • Organizing bazaars and exhibitions to showcase beneficiaries’ products and expand their market reach.
  • Providing training and awareness programs in digital finance, financial literacy, credit reporting, over-indebtedness prevention, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Offering health and life insurance to enhance financial protection and stability.

The report shows that the microfinance sector employs 3,000 staff members, 51% of whom are women, many occupying leadership positions across various governorates.

This workforce operates through 204 branches covering the entire Kingdom, strengthening access to financial services and contributing to job creation.
