Al Watani Microfinance – a member of “Tanmeyah” – participated with an official delegation in the 17th Sanabel Conference 2026, led by Mr. Samah Al-Mahareeq, CEO, along with a team of company representatives.
Mr. Al-Mahareeq delivered his intervention as a keynote speaker in the session “Governance in Inclusive Finance,” organized by Cerise + SPTF, highlighting the role of governance in client protection, preventing over-indebtedness, and enhancing institutions’ social performance, while presenting practical tools and standards to strengthen board effectiveness.
This participation reflects Al Watani’s commitment to leading sector development and promoting best practices to ensure the sustainability of microfinance and the protection of clients .
