Tanmeyah held a “Credit Risk Management” Training supported by EU
Amman – Jordan: Tanmeyah- Jordan Microfinance Network held a “credit risk management training” to MFI Employees supported by EU. The training course aimed to build MFI Employees capacity and enable them to take a positive financial decision that reflects on customers by offering the best financial services.
In addition, the training focused on the concept of risk and the classifications of it, and identifying the best policies and procedures for credit management.
The training course lasted for three days, including group workshops and other activities. Dr. Ahmad Al-Hussien the Chairman of Tanmeyah Jordan Microfinance Network to accompany with Mr. Saleem Executive Director gave the certificates to the trainees.
This training course was enforcement for Tanmeyah strategy, to enhance the capabilities of the microfinance sector's staff to comply with international best practice. The practices and policies of MFIs in Jordan based on principle and the foundations of responsible finance, to provide value added reflected on the living standards of the targeted group.
Tanmeyah role is not only to support and develop institutions, but also to develop a sustainable microfinance industry that will become an integral part of the national financial system in Jordan. It will play an active role in supporting the further development of the microfinance industry, providing advocacy and awareness rising on behalf of its members, promoting information and disseminating the latest developments and trends for the sector.
